Horoscopes anyone...??

I'm working on something for class and I wonder if you could, not with any prior preparation, write a completely colloquial response to this question: How do zodiak signs and horoscopes affect us in our lives? What is your personal view and emot...ional response to the use of horoscopes to make decisions. it can be any length. You can say anything you want!!

I neither read them nor believe in them. I don't think that horoscope or zodiac signs really affect me.

I've never read a horoscope actually. I did find out that I'm a gemini, but I don't know what that means. So ya,that's all I know, hope it helps

The Horoscope doesn't affect us in any real meaningful way except in the mind of the believer. A person who reads your Horoscope; claims to be able to see into the future and direct you toward it is a charlatan. The future is highly volatile and unpredictable. If a horoscope reader could predict the future, then why didn't they warned people about ww1 and ww2 or 911, all consequential events which were unpredictable. The phonies just give you vague enough answers to your question to leave you guessing. However, I do think they work, for certain people, as a form of therapy. I mean who wouldn't want to know what the future entails for each of us. People are very superstitious and when face with uncertainty it's kind of hard not to look into signs or hold talismans for comfort. Like the movement of the planets, socks you only wear for special occasions, a lucky charm, and palm reading. But you can't prove this methods actually work. If I told you there is a stone which would make you immortal on this earth and all you got to do is find it. It's obvious you couldn't possible search the entire earth for this one unique stone. The statement is vague and illogical enough to leave you with no real answer. It's the same with the Zodiac or Horoscope; it's just charlatanism.

Haha, I love reading horoscopes. They're entertaining, to say the least. It seems like any of them could be applied to anyone (under - or not under - that sign), so the accuracy of them is almost so vague & broad that people could be very affected by them, if they choose to be. I don't think they're all that REAL. But I still get a kick out of reading them here and there. And heck, if they give a good fortune, why not believe it? :)
